As an Educational Advocate, I believe every individual has the potential to succeed, and it is my role to help restore the collaborative partnership between families, educators, and providers to ensure that environment is present.
I believe in addressing and overcoming systemic barriers that prevent equitable address to quality education.
I have been a certified special education teacher in the public school system for over 18 years. I earned a B.S. in Communication Disorders from Texas Woman's University and a Master's in Education from Bowling Green State University, with additional certifications in Autism, Assistive Technology, and Transition.
As a proud parent of children who have received support through a 504 Plan or IEP, I have a deep understanding of the concerns and perspectives of both parents and educators.
I provide a variety of services, including educational advocacy and transition planning.
Transition Planning involves tailored support to prepare, guide, and assist individuals for life after high school, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.
Educational Advocacy entails working closely with families and schools to create customized plans that address each individual's unique needs and goals. an educational advocate educational consulting
