 Monica Culwell Consulting, LLC is built on the belief that every child deserves access to a quality education that meets their individual needs. As an Educational Consultant and Advocate, I am passionate about helping families find the best educational fit for their children, fostering collaboration between families, educators, and providers, and addressing systemic barriers to equitable education. I am committed to empowering students and their families to succeed and creating a more just and equitable educational system for all. 

 My commitment to supporting students and families is rooted in over 18 years of experience as a certified educator in the public school system. Armed with a B.S. in Communication Disorders from Texas Woman's University, a Master's in Education from Bowling Green State University, and specialized certifications in Autism, Assistive Technology, and Transition, I possess the knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of special education.

 But my greatest asset is my perspective as a parent of five children, three of whom have received support through 504 Plans or IEPs. This personal journey has instilled in me a deep empathy for both parents and educators, fueling my passion for advocating for equitable and effective educational opportunities for all. 

I provide a range of services designed to empower students and families throughout their educational journey. 

• Educational Consulting & School Choice: I offer comprehensive educational consulting services, including guidance on school choice. I help families navigate the options and identify the best educational environment for their child's unique learning style, academic goals, and personal interests.
• Educational Advocacy: I work closely with families and schools to develop customized plans that address each student's individual needs and goals. As educational advocates, I ensure students receive the support and accommodations necessary for success.
• Transition Planning: I provide tailored support to prepare, guide, and assist individuals for life after high school, ensuring a smooth and successful transition to college, career, or other post-secondary pursuits.
